Una Keane :: Project Director :: Music and Arts & CraftsUna has a background in Music and IT. She holds a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Dublin City University and a Postgraduate Diploma in
Music Technology from DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama. She
is also qualified to teach Piano Performance through the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). Having worked for a number of years in the Software world , Una changed direction in 2004 and foundedThe Piano Room, a piano school for adults & children in Kilmainham, South Dublin. She teaches full-time during the Academic Term. Her main focus outside of teaching this year is the release of her debut Album "Trees", which she has been working on for
the past 3 years. The album has been recorded in various locations
between Dublin and London, and an October 2010 release is planned.

Stephen Crilly :: Movie-making Workshops
 Stephen has worked in most areas of film production over the last 10 years; writing, producing, directing, editing, sound & camera departments. He has made numerous short films, which have screened in film festivals around the world, from London to Los Angeles, and also screened on BBC and RTE television. In 2005 Stephen was shortlisted for both the Cinemagic Young Filmmaker Award & The BBC New Filmmaker Award. In recent times he has focused his efforts more on screenwriting, and in 2009 he studied for an M.A. in Screenwriting at I.A.D.T., Dun Laoghaire. His written work has been optioned to production companies in the U.S. and the UK, and he has also been commissioned to do rewrite work for numerous companies including BAFTA nominated Red and Black Films.
Elena Degtyareva :: Dance

Elena
is a Dancer, a Teacher and a Choreographer and comes to the project
with a varied background in Dance and Dance Education. She holds
qualifications from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and ISTD, in
addition to gaining a state diploma in Dance from the Russian-Vaganova
Ballet Academy in Uzbekistan. She has worked closely with Marion
Lennon, Director of Dance at Inchicore College for a number of years, working with young children from 5 years plus. In addition, she has choreographed numerous Dance and Theatre productions
in Uzbekistan, London and Dublin including “Different Voices of Pinter”
by Harold Pinter, “Red Hood” childrens’ show and “Crime &
Punishment” by Dostoevsky, the last production of which was shown at
the Edinburgh Theatre Festival. We’re delighted that Elena will be
joining us on the Project Team again this year for the fourth year in a row, bringing her experience

Collie Murray :: Drama
 Collie graduated from the Theatre Performance programme at Inchicore College in 2009. He holds Diplomas in Drama and Musical Theatre from Trinity Guildhall London. Since finishing last year, he has been involved in both acting and teaching. His most recent performance was a run of 5 shows in The New Theatre, Temple Bar as Wolfgang in the WWII daram, The Stone. He also played the lead role in Screwed, a play devised and written by the kids at the Edenmore Outreach Programme. This was performed in the Axis Theatre Ballymun. Collie is also involved with the Blue Rose Theatre Co. who bring educational theatre to primary and secondary schools all over Ireland. He is presently facilitating 2 drama classes per week with the emphasis on Improvisation, Performance Games, use of Imagination and Storytelling. He also has a keen interest in dancing and has been learning Hip Hop for the last couple of years.
Bryan O'Connell :: Drum Instructor
Bryan has
played drums, recorded and toured internationally with many
bands over the last 15 years including Si Schroeder, Saso,  Una Keane, El Diablo, Huts on Stilts and Sean Og's Trihornophone. He has promoted shows and tours for The Fall's Mark E. Smith and
Can't Damo Suzuki. In addition to his work with Beautiful Unit, he
plays various types of improvised music with groups in the Deserted
Village Collective. He has taught Drums privately in Dublin for many
years, and I'm thrilled that he's available to give these Drum Workshops to our gang on this year's Summer Project. It could get noisy!
Clare Mulvany :: Photographer & Face-painting Artist

As a writer and documentary photographer, Clare Mulvany has a passion for exploring positive social change and innovation. Her
most recent book, 'One Wild Life', published by The Collins Press in
April 2009, tells the story of a global journey to interview people working for social change and has been widely acclaimed in the media. Clare's photographic work, published and exhibited extensively,
has included collaborative pieces with clients including Concern, Irish
Aid, Suas, Our Lady's Hospice, NCBI and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. Clare was a former manager of the Suas Volunteer Programme, an international leadership development programme
for young people in Ireland. She holds a Masters in
